Next Frontier Capital Closes First Venture Capital Fund, at $21.2M

Bozeman, Montana-based Next Frontier Capital closed its inaugural venture capital fund, at $21.2m.

More than 75 individual and institutional Limited Partners invested in the fund.

Led by General Partners Will Price and Richard Harjes, Next Frontier Capital, seeks to lead or co-lead venture investments between $200k and $1.5m in Montana-based promising technology and healthcare ventures.

The fund has made three investments over the last year, in biotech, software and clean water technology firms. These include:
SiteOne Therapeutics, a Bozeman, Montana-based developer of novel therapeutics and diagnostics to treat acute and chronic pain without the limitations of existing therapies, such as NSAIDs and opioids;
Submittable, a Missoula, Montana-based provider of cloud-based online submission management solutions for any size publisher, school or organization; and
Clearas, a Missoula, Montana-based provider of advanced, biologic-based, water treatment technology for municipal and industrial point source dischargers.
