Real Estate Property Management Platform Buildium Received $65M Investment

Buildium-LogoBuildium, a Boston, MA-based SaaS property management platform for real estate professionals, received a $65M strategic investment.

The round was led by Sumeru Equity Partners (SEP) with participation from existing investors and company management. In conjunction with the funding, SEP Managing Directors, Jason Babcoke and John Brennan, will join Buildium’s board of directors.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate product innovation and growth.

Led by Michael Monteiro, co-founder and CEO, Buildium provides a property management solution that automates the entire property management lifecycle and enables real estate professionals to streamline time-consuming tasks such as rent/fee collection, tenant screening, maintenance requests, and vacancy advertising, in order to win new business from property owners and community associations.
The company services more than 12,500 customers in 46 countries, totaling nearly one million residential units under management.
