Boston Semi Equipment, LLC (BSE), a Billerica, MA-based semiconductor equipment company, raised a new round of capital funding.
The amount of the deal and the investor were not disclosed.
The company will use the funds to expand semiconductor test automation product lines.
Founded in 2010, Boston Semi Equipment is an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of automation equipment for the handling and testing of semiconductor devices.
The company now develops and markets its own test handlers, wafer probers and custom designed automation equipment for the semiconductor market. It also provides semiconductor manufacturers, OSATs and fabless companies with the legacy automatic test equipment they continue to use on their test floors every day.
