FiveAI, a Bristol, UK-based developer of autonomous driving technology, raised $2.7M in its initial equity funding.
The round was led by Amadeus Capital Partners with participation from Spring Partners and Notion Capital.
The company intends to use the funds to grow the team, continue development and begin simulator and road testing of its software.
Led by Stan Boland, FiveAI is building an autonomous vehicle software stack to enable safe urban mobility for all, which leverages AI instead of mapping 37.2 million kilometers of road across the planet. The company will announce partnerships to deliver the software to consumers in staged deployments across cities and towns.
