GC Aesthetics, a Dublin, EIRE-based global breast implants company, completed a $20m Series D financing round.
Backers included existing investors Montreux Equity Partners, Oyster Capital, and Barry’s Tea Holdings.
The company intends to use the funds to expand its commercial operations, launch its sixth generation product IMPLEO globally, invest in product innovation, and further improve customer service.
Led by CEO Ayse Kocak, GC Aesthetics focuses on the development, manufacturing and commercialization of a range of implant products, principally silicone breast implants. The company has manufacturing facilities in the United Kingdom, being the parent company of Nagor, and France, being the parent company of Eurosilicone, Its more than 325,000 implants are manufactured with medical-grade silicone supplied from ISO 9001-certified sources and marketed in over 75 countries.
The company employs around 400 people globally.
