Kandou Bus, S.A., a Lausanne, Switzerland-based developer of SerDes technologies, completed a $15M funding round.
Bessemer Venture Partners made the investment.
The resources will enable Kandou to expand research and accelerate the development, productization and deployment of its Chord™ signaling SerDes technology.
Led by CEO and Founder Amin Shokrollahi, Kandou has developed Chord signaling for enhanced communications between chips inside electronic systems ranging from cell phones to servers and high performance computing.
The company’s solutions are used by leading semiconductor companies, including Marvell (MRVL), to deliver more compute power in a smaller form factor and at a lower cost.
