Leadpages, a Minneapolis, MN-based provider of software for businesses to collect leads via landing pages, websites, social media, email, and text messaging, acquired Drip, a marketing automation and email platform.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
The acquisition, which came one year after Leadpages’ $27m Series B financing round led by Drive Capital, Foundry Group, and Arthur Ventures, brings marketing automation and a visual campaign builder to the Leadpages catalog.
Founded in 2012 and based in Fresno, CA, Drip provides a platform featuring tools including customer journey mapping, workflow automation, lead scoring, and and event triggered communication. The acquisition also adds product, engineering, and customer success talent to the Leadpages team, starting with CEO Rob Walling and cofounder Derrick Reimer, will join Leadpages at Minneapolis headquarters, growing the Leadpages team to over 180.
