The round was led by Saudi Aramco Energy Ventures (SAEV), the corporate venturing arm of Saudi Aramco, with participation from existing investor NGP Energy Technology Partners (NGP ETP).
The company intends to use the funds for global expansion.
Led by Tony Gioffredi, Chief Executive Officer, and Zahroof Mohamed, President and Chief Technology Officer, ZVI has developed and markets the Straightflo (SF) Valve for use in reciprocating gas compressors. The ZVI Straightflo Valve, developed by Mohamed, is a direct “drop-in” replacement for all manufacturers’ compressor valves and can be operated in most compression applications including natural gas gathering, production, transmission and storage; CNG; FPSO; CO2 Enhanced Oil Recovery; H2 and others.
