Breezeworks, a San Francisco, CA-based service business automation platform, acquired field software competitor Prompt.ly’s app business.
With the acquisition, whose amount was not disclosed, Breezeworks will acquire Prompt.ly’s mobile app business and transition Prompt.ly users onto its platform over the coming months.
Eli-Shaoul Khedouri, co-founder and CTO of Prompt.ly, will also join the Breezeworks Advisory Board.
Led by Matthew Cowan and Adam Block, Breezeworks provides enterprise-quality automation for small businesses, with services including CRM, booking, estimating, scheduling, dispatching, routing, team tracking, invoicing, payment processing, and customer communication. It integrates with payments and accounting services including Square and QuickBooks Online.
The Breezeworks service business automation platform, which has been used by more than 33,000 customers, is available as a web or mobile application for download at www.breezeworks.com, as well as from the Apple iOS App Store, the Google Play Store for Android devices and directly from the QuickBooks or Square app stores.
The company is backed by Obvious Ventures, Harmony Partners and angel investors Marc Benioff, Max Levchin, James Murdoch, David Sacks, Peter Thiel, and Jeff Skoll.
