Cybrary, a Greenbelt, Maryland-based cybersecurity MOOC (massive open online course) provider, secured $1.3m in seed funding.
The round was led by Arthur Ventures and Ron Gula, Founder and Chairman of Tenable Network Security, with participation from existing investors Inner Loop Capital.
The company intends to use the funds for product development.
Led by Ralph Sita and Ryan Corey, Cybrary operates a cybersecurity community providing anyone with free resources to learn and grow in the field.
The community has more than 550,000 registered users from around the globe and thousands joining every day. To date, Cybrary has delivered more than 70 million minutes of cybersecurity training and educational content on 2,000 plus topics.
