-

even-logoMeQ Inc., the San Francisco, CA-based developer of Even, a personalized listening product, raised $2m in Series A funding.

The round was led by Firstime Venture Capital. With this round of funding, MeQ is adding Ilan Shiloah, managing partner of Firstime, to the board as chairman and Michael Potter, board member of Blue Nile and Niagara Bottling, former board member of Zulily, to the board.

The company intends to use the funds for product research, product development and marketing initiatives.

Founded in 2014 by Danny Aronson and Ofer Raz, MeQ has launched the Even brand, whose earphones, available now, feature patent-pending EarPrint technology that delivers a fully-personalized listening experience.
Even’s patent-pending EarPrint technology analyzes, adjusts and adapts sound based on the way the user hears, in each ear, giving them an accurate and moving sound experience possible.
