Apptimize, a San Francisco, CA-based optimization platform for A/B testing of mobile apps, secured $12.4m in Series B funding.
The round was led by US Venture Partners with participation from Glynn Capital Management, Goldcrest Investments, Western Technology Investments, Ken Ross, and Twin Gables. In conjunction with the funding, Dafina Toncheva of US Venture Partners will join the Apptimize Board of Directors.
The company, which brought total capital to $18.5m, intends to use the funds for global growth.
Led by Nancy Hua, co-founder and CEO, Apptimize provides a solution to improve native iOS and Android apps by enabling rapid iteration through A/B Testing, instant updates, and advanced feature tracking and measurement. It allows developers to deploy any new feature or promotion instantly to all, some, or a specific list.
