Teckro, a Limerick, Ireland-based life sciences technology company, raised $6m in Series A funding.
The round was led by Founders Fund with participation from Enterprise Ireland and private investors.
The company, which has raised $7.8m in total funding, intends to use the capital for further development and expansion of its mobile software platform for clinical trials.
Co-founded in June 2015 by Gary Hughes, Jacek Skryzpiec and Nigel Hughes, Teckro partners with pharmaceutical/biotech companies and research institutions to simplify the clinical development process by using information retrieval and machine learning technologies to improve the speed and accuracy of trial conduct.
The technology has already been adopted by a number of pharmaceutical companies.
