Tempered Networks, Inc., a Seattle, WA-based provider of Identity-Defined Networking solutions, raised $10m in series B funding.
The round, which brought the total amount the company has raised to approximately $32m, was led by Rally Capital LLC with participation from existing investors Ignition Venture Partners, IDG Ventures, and Fluid Capital. In conjunction with the funding, Dennis Weibling, Managing Director at Rally Capital, joined Tempered Networks’ Board of Directors.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to focus on creating product differentiation, hiring talent, and broadening its global sales and distribution channels.
Led by Jeff Hussey, President and CEO, Tempered Networks provides Identity-Defined Networking (IDN) platform, which unifies networking and security with a simplified approach that protects every connected resource with a unique crypto identity, instead of a spoofable IP address.
With Tempered Networks, any network and connected resource can be orchestrated, cloaked, and encrypted from the start and any IP resource can be instantly provisioned, moved, or revoked, making a network as adaptable as software, secure, and simple to manage.
