Mavrx, a San Francisco, CA-based agtech company, raised $10m in Series A funding.
The round was led by Eclipse Ventures with participation from Bloomberg Beta and Visionnaire Ventures, among others.
The company will use the funds to continue to expand operations.
Led by CEO Max Bruner, COO Alexey Rostapshov, and CTO Yuan Gao, Mavrx provides an imagery-based spatial analytics platform which leverages a network of UAVs, aircraft, and satellites to give total field awareness and enable growers to maximize yields and reduce costs.
Mavrx combines computer vision algorithms and machine learning to detect and predict changes in crop and soil conditions before they would become visible.
