E-Mail Marketing Startup Privy Raises New Funding Round

privyPrivy, a Boston, MA-based email marketing startup, raised a new round of funding.

The amount of the deal was not disclosed.

The round was led by Mike Volpe and Yoav Shapira at Operator.vc, with participation from Bill Cohen, Managing Partner, and Todd Breeden, Principal, at KiwiVenture Partners II. Operator.vc and KiwiVenture Partners II joined existing investors including Hubspot, Accomplice, 500 Startups, etc.

The company intends to use the funds to continue scaling its list growth product.

Led by CEO Ben Jabbawy, VP Engineer Peter Cai and three other developers, Privy offers a free website widget and landing page tool to grow the email list and incentivize conversions. Its free plan allows users to capture inbound leads on their website and spin up mobile friendly landing pages in seconds. Paid users can track ecommerce or in-store sales derived from every campaign.
