Libryo, a London, UK-based legal tech startup, raised a seed funding round of undisclosed amount.
Backers included Nextlaw Labs, the legal tech venture development platform launched by global law firm Dentons, and Seedcamp, and a seed stage fund.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to develop the platform and expand operations. It will also receive training and mentorship as a result of a joint global callout of the investors to identify top legal tech startups.
Led by Peter Flynn, Garth Watson and Malcolm Gray, Libryo provides a Software as a Service-based dashboard which lists all legal obligations per the needs of its customers, enabling any person, working in any organization to understand the legal obligations in any situation. Its custom legal registers are currently used by customers and partners in ISO certified management systems as well as for compliance with all regulation that applies to them.
