Social Tables, a Washington D.C.-based provider of SaaS collaborative event software for hospitality and meeting professionals, closed a $13m Series B round of funding.
The round was led by QuestMark Partners with participation from previous investors Bessemer Venture Partners, Thayer Capital, Fortify Ventures, and Middleland Capital.
The company, which has raised a total of $22.6m to date, intends to use the funds to develop new products it is launching in 2017.
Founded in 2011 by CEO Dan Berger, Social Tables provides a cloud based platform that enables planners and properties to work together and manage events online, from small meetings and receptions to city-wide conventions.
Today, the solution is used by more than 100,000 professionals across 4,300 customers, some of which include Hyatt Hotels, House of Blues, and Forbes.
The company currently employ more than 135 employees.
