Switchee, a London, United Kingdom-based cleantech startup, raised £605k in seed funding.
The round was co-led by Mustard Seed Ventures, ClearlySo, and Ian Nolan and supported by Wayra UK, part of Telefonica Open Future, through their acceleration program and property tech venture capital fund Pi Labs.
The company intends to use the funds to expand the reach of its innovative smart thermostat technology.
Led by Adam Fudakowski, co-founder and managing director, Switchee has developed a smart thermostat for large social landlords that saves tenants money by detecting occupancy and turning heating off when a property is empty and provides aggregated, remote data analytics for landlords, to better manage large-scale residential portfolios.
