Zumper, a San Francisco, CA-based home and apartment rental platform, raised $17.6m in Series B funding.
The round was led by Breyer Capital and Foxhaven Asset Management with participation from Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers (KPCB), Goodwater Capital, Scott Cook (Chairman of Intuit), xfund and Marcus & Millichap.
The company, which has raised $39.2m in total funding to date, intends to use the funds to scale its platform and introduce new product offerings in early 2017.
Led by Anthemos Georgiades, CEO, Zumper is an end-to-end home and apartment rental platform, which takes renters from search through application and close. In addition to its consumer products, the company provides rental professionals with tools to market listings and screen prospective tenants.
In February 2016, Zumper acquired rental search platform PadMapper.
It today has a team of 34.
