4040 Media, a Southport, UK-based animated video production company, raised £500k in equity and debt funding.
Backers included the newly formed angel syndicate Redstone Venture Managers, and the Angel CoFund.
The company intends to use the funds to expand its marketing and sales resources and develop new products and services.
Founded by CEO Matt Byrom in 2009, 4040 Media is a group of brands including Wyzowl, is an explainer video brand, and publi.sh, which enables marketers to discover the best expert marketing content on the web, and content providers.
Clients include Seagate, Oracle and Deloitte.
