Paktor, a Singapore based geolocation dating and networking mobile app, raised $32.5m in new funding.
The round was led by K2 Global and MNC Media Group, with participation from other backers.
The company – which has now raised $57.5m in total funding – intends to use the capital to grow its product offerings.
Founded in July 2013 by Joseph Phua, CEO, Paktor provides an iOS and Android app for people “to go on real dates“. On the app, it is free to swipe, like and chat with mutual matches, even across borders, is safe and confidential, enables people to meet other people with the same interests in the Group Chat feature
In addition, a premium subscription enhances Paktor’s experience via tools to unlock advanced filters to find the best matches in terms of job, education, height and countries/distances, view suggested profiles to increase chances of matching and receive daily points to send gifts and direct messages
The company says it has 20 million registered users.
