ParkBee Raises €1.8M in Funding

parkbeeParkBee, a Rotterdam, The Netherlands-based parking startup, raised €1.8m in funding.

Backers included four informal investors and InnovationQuarter, the regional development agency for West Holland.

The company intends to use the funds to further develop its technology and accelerate international expansion, following the recent opening of its first office in London.

Led by Managing director Tom Buchmann, CTO Jian Jiang, and Commercial Director Wouter de Bruijne, ParkBee works in cooperation with parking apps Parkmobile and Park-line to make office building car park spaces accessible to the public generating a new source of income for property owners.
The company took part in the YES!Delft incubation program and was a participant in Climate-KIC South Holland’s accelerator program.
It is supported by the ESA Business Incubation Centre in Noordwijk.
