PetCoach, a Wayne, PA-based digital pet healthcare platform, secured $2m in seed funding.
The round was led by Comcast Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate business growth.
Led by Brock Weatherup, PetCoach provides pet owners with a personalized online pet care service combining personal advice and 24/7 access to certified pet professionals. Users can leverage the PetCoach website and the (Apple and Android) app in order to interact with certified vets for immediate one-on-one consultations and access an education center comprised of pet-related discussions and vet authored articles.
In addition to receiving funding from Comcast Ventures and directly from Brock Weatherup, the company is also backed by venture capital firm and accelerator DreamIt Ventures and consumer-only venture firm Maveron.
