Sweetguest, a Milan, Italy-based platform dedicated to optimizing the management of hosts renting their homes via AirBnb, raised approx. €1m in seed funding.
Backers included unnamed private investors.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand operations.
Co-founded by Rocco Lomazzi and Edoardo Grattirola, Sweetguest has developed a tech platform focused on optimizing the short term renting opportunities coming from AirBnB and other similar platforms. It works by allowing hosts to connect to Sweetguest via the online website at www.sweetguest.it, to receive a free valuation and enter the platform. Once the home is approved, Sweetguest takes a series of actions to make the place performing via, e.g., a photo book to highlight its strenghts, as well as by managing the check in and maintanance services.
Launches six months ago, the platform has managed 6, 000 guests and 2.400 bookings across Milan.
