Bink Raises £2M in Funding

-

binkBink, an Ascot, UK-based provider of an app that links consumers’ payment cards to loyalty schemes, raised £2m in funding.

The company, which has raised over £10m in total funding, intends to use the capital to accelerate growth and expand operations in the UK and elsewhere, continuing to invest in B2B, marketing and sales staff.

Co-founded in 2014 by Greg Gormley and Lee Clarke, Bink provides a free solution to consumers who want to collect loyalty points without having to carry, swipe and tap dozens of loyalty cards or apps by simply linking their payment cards to loyalty schemes through Bink. Retailers, in turn, can collect detail and insight into their customers’ shopping habits and target them with personalized offers via the company’s digital marketing platform.

Customers include Avios, PizzaExpress, Virgin Atlantic, Arcadia Group, River Island and Morrisons, with more to be announced over the coming weeks and months.
