Cerebras, a Los Altos, CA-based stealth mode hardware startup, reportedly raised approx. $25m in funding.
The backers were not disclosed.
The company is backed by Andrew Feldman, Founder and CEO, who was co-founder and CEO of SeaMicro (acquired by AMD for $355m), Vice President of Marketing and Product Management at Force10 Networks (acquired by Dell for $800m), and Vice President of Corporate Marketing and Corporate Development for Riverstone Networks (NASDAQ: RSTN) from inception through IPO.
The team also includes Sean Lie, Founder and Chief Hardware Architect, Bill Lynch, Vice President, Engineering, and Gary Lauterbach, CTO.
