The MACH37 Cyber Accelerator has announced it will begin accepting applications from information security product startups and security entrepreneurs for its Spring 2017 (S17) Cohort that begins on March 14th.
The program consists of a 90-day program in which the selected startups are coached in all aspects of creating a sustainable and successful business.
The S17 Cohort, which will be limited to 8 companies coming from any geography, will bring together domain experts, security entrepreneurs, buyers, and investors familiar with the security market.
Participants will receive $50k in equity funding to develop and launch their ideas into the market, access to the Stars Mentor Network and will have support of the network throughout the life of their enterprise.
To date, in three years of operation, MACH37 has helped launch 40 cyber companies including:
– Virgil Security, which raised a $4M Series A round,
– Atomicorp Inc., which raised a $1M seed round, and
– Cyber Algorithms, which announced an acquisition by Thycotic.
Led by Rick Gordon, Managing Partner, MACH37 is looking for full time teams of 2-4 co-founders who are building transformative information security technology products which can have commercial success, are seeking rapid growth through venture capital and willing to be in Virginia for the entire 90 day program.
