SignalFire, a San Francisco, CA-based seed stage venture capital firm, closed its second fund, at approx. $101.5m.
According to a regulatory form filed with the SEC, 40 investors participated in the offering of Signalfire Fund, II, L.P.
Led by Chris Farmer, SignalFire is a venture capital firm that invests where data and technology disrupts consumer (mobile, media, marketplaces, gaming, e-commerce, social networking, etc.) and enterprise (SaaS, Big data, machine learning, verticalized software, security, etc.) markets.
The firm leverages a distributed network approach providing expert advice from entrepreneurs, product & engineering leaders in every key discipline and industry and a centralized infrastructure to help founders recruit talent, develop the business, acquire customers and organize educational & community events.
Throught its first $53m fund, the firm has invested in Uber, Rocksbox, ClassDojo, SmartSpot, Yodas, MileZero, Zume Pizza, and Frame.io.
