Cuemath, a Bengaluru, India-based education company, raised $15m in Series B funding.
The round led by Alphabet Inc., CapitalG (formerly known as Google Capital) with participation from existing investor Sequoia India.
The company intends to use the capital for business expansion and product development.
Led by Manan Khurma, CEO, Anushray Gupta, CTO, Nikhil Pawar, Head of Curriculum, and Akshay Kumar, COO, Cuemath provides after-school maths learning program for students from grades LKG through 8.
The program aims to every aspect of learning maths engaging and comprehensive by using math worksheets and application-based technology under the supervision of trained and certified teachers.
The company has over a 1,000 centres operating across the nation in cities like Delhi NCR, Bangalore, Mumbai, Chennai, Pune, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad and more.
