Perfect Sense, Inc., a Reston, VA- and Atlanta, GA-based provider of a digital experience platform, closed a $22m round of funding.
The backer was Carrick Capital Partners, an investment firm focused on technology-enabled businesses including SaaS, software, BPO and transaction processing. In conjunction with the funding, Marc McMorris, co-founder and managing director of Carrick Capital Partners will join Perfect Sense’s board of directors.
The company intends to use the funds to bring new technologies to market and continue to innovate solutions.
Founded in 2008 by David Gang and Lisa Beaudoin, Perfect Sense provides a digital experience platform that allows companies to respond to the demands of their customers and to deliver engaging experiences across all expressions of their brand. Its Brightspot features search capability, the ability to manage and distribute content across multiple sites and channels, built-in analytics, and the ability to personalize the delivery of content and to understand individual user demographics captured in virtually any CRM.
Customers include Johnson & Johnson, Walmart, Politico, Univision, National Geographic, and Scripps Networks Interactive, among others.
