Petalite Limited, a Birmingham, UK-based developer of technology and IP for commercially-ready systems to charge batteries, raised £250k in funding.
The SEIS funding round was led by Startup Funding Club and syndicated between members of its angel syndicate and the SFC SEIS Fund.
The company will use the funds to expand applications of its technology.
Led by Leigh Purnell, CEO, Petalite has developed technology and IP for commercially-ready systems to charge batteries in in under 15 minutes. The charging technology, will be adapted and applied to markets such as portable power supplies, mobility devices and the automotive sector.
