Querium Raises $3.2M in Series B Funding

queriumQuerium Corporation, an Austin, TX-based developer of the artificial intelligence-based StepWise Virtual Tutor software, raised $3.2m in Series B funding.

The round was led by previous investor Wild Basin Investments with participation from Ingram Content Group, Crossfire Holdings, and SustainVC. In conjunction with the funding, education technology industry veteran Jamie Caras, former Chief Product Officer at Macmillan Learning and Founder and President of Sapling Learning, joined Querium’s Board of Directors.

The company, which has raised $4m in total financing, will use the funds to expand operations.

Led by Kent Fuka, Founder & CEO, and Patti Smith, Co-Founder & Chief Marketing Officer, Querium provides digital native students with a patented mobile learning platform to master STEM skills, prepare for college and beyond.
The platform – available 24/7 – uses A.I. technology to deliver personalized, bite-sized lessons with expert system, and step-by-step tutoring assistance.
