Salsify, a Boston, MA-based product content management (PCM) platform for distributed commerce, raised $30 million in Series C funding.
The round was led by Underscore.VC, with participation from existing investors Venrock, Matrix Partners and North Bridge.
The company, which has raised $54.6m in total funding to date, intends to use the funds to continue to advance product development and scale its go-to-market strategy, including hiring 80 new people in 2017.
Led by CEO Jason Purcell, Salsify provides a management platform for retailers and brands to efficiently deliver product content to digital shoppers, wherever and whenever they shop. Customers include a wide range of Fortune 500 companies.
In addition to growth with brand manufacturers, the company continues to expand its partnerships with top retailers, including Walmart, Google, Wayfair, Jet, Overstock and others.
Salsify has more than 120 employees in downtown Boston.
