Zetta Venture Partners, a San Francisco, CA-based venture capital firm focused on the Intelligent Enterprise, appointed Jocelyn Goldfein as a Partner.
Prior to Zetta, Goldfein was an angel investor, following a career as an engineering executive at high-growth companies including Facebook and VMware.
She established VMware’s Desktop Business Unit, becoming Vice President and General Manager of a cross-functional product organization responsible for a $150 million business, reporting directly to the CEO.
Goldfein led teams at Facebook that launched major updates to news feed, photos and search and the mobile infrastructure team through the company’s pivot to mobile. As an angel investor, she’s been involved in helping early stage tech startups, with a particular focus on artificial intelligence (AI) and infrastructure companies.
Goldfein serves on several boards, including Harvey Mudd College.
Founded in 2013 by Mark Gorenberg, Managing Director, Zetta Venture Partners has $160 million under management. Current portfolio companies include Appdiff, Clearbit, Domo, Domino Data Lab, EventBoard, Focal Systems, InsideSales, Kaggle, Lilt, Lucid Design Group and Tractable.
