mClinica Raises $6.3M in Series A Funding

mclinicamClinica, a Singapore-based healthtech startup, raised $6.3m in Series A funding.

The round was led by Unitus Impact with participation from Global Innovation Fund, MDI Ventures, and Endeavor Catalyst as well as existing investors 500 Startups, IMJ Investment Partners and Kickstart Ventures.

The company intends to use the funds to expand its operations globally.

Led by Founder and CEO Farouk Meralli and COO Vasil Rusinov, mClinica has developed mobile technology that enables multinational pharmaceutical companies, governments, NGOs, and academic institutions to obtain data and run patient programs directly touching populations at the local pharmacy level. The company also offers health ministries the ability to generate and visualize real-time health data for decision making and policy formulation.
mClinica currently operates in major markets in Southeast Asia such as Indonesia, Vietnam and the Philippines, and is expanding to other countries.
