Scania Growth Capital will make investments in high-growth companies with strategic relevance to its ecosystem in the transport- and automotive industries. The fund will evaluate investment proposals broadly. They may include, but are not limited to, companies with products, solutions or services in digitalization, autonomous vehicles, connectivity, hybridization, renewable fuels and smart factory.
Scania Growth Capital will be operated and advised by an external investment team with extensive experience from venture and growth capital business as well as from the automotive industry. It will be led by venture capital veteran Lars-Olof Gustavsson, who has been appointed chairman and also acts as chairman of the external investment company.
