TactoTek Raises Investment from Faurecia Ventures

tactotekTactoTek, an Oulu, Finland-based provider of injection molded structural electronics (IMSE) solutions, received an investment from Faurecia Ventures.

Faurecia joined Conor Venture Partners, VTT Ventures, Leaguer VC, and private angels in a transaction bringing total funding raised to date by the company to over USD20m. The company is also funded by TEKES, and European Union’s Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation Programme.

Founded in 2011 and led by Jussi Harvela, CEO, TactoTek provides solutions for Injection Molded Structural Electronics (IMSE) that integrate printed circuitry and electronic components into 3D injection molded plastics.
The company adapts customer designs to IMSE technology, develops mass production ready prototypes, and mass produces or licenses the technology for 3rd party mass production.
Use cases include in-vehicle applications, home/industrial appliances, and wearable technology.
