-

triplemintTripleMint (formerly called Suitey), a New York City-based real estate tech startup, closed a $4.5m Series A funding.

The round was led by DN Capital, with participation from new investors across the real estate and technology sectors including Summit Action Fund and b-to-v ventures.

The company, which has raised over $7m in total funding, intends to use the funds to continue to expand in metropolitan areas.

Founded in 2013 by Yale classmates David Walker and Philip Lang, TripleMint is a residential real estate brokerage that aims to improve the consumer experience. Powered by proprietary algorithm, the platform allows members to anticipate and capitalize on future market activity, and to match prospective buyers and sellers. In addition, the TripleMint model rewards agents with client satisfaction-based bonuses, as well as commissions to incentivize improved service and eliminate sales pressure.
