bexio, a Rapperswil, Switzerland-based SME business accounting software provider, closed a CHF7.5M growth financing round.
The round was led by Swisscom Ventures with the participation from existing investors Redalpine (Redalpine Capital II) and Armada Investment AG.
The company intends to use the funds to further accelerate growth and invest in product innovation.
Co-founded by Jeremias Meier, CEO, Stefan Brunner, and Marcel Lenz, CTO, bexio provides SMEs with an accounting management software platform which integrates with accountants, banks and other service providers.
The company recently acquired Berlin-based payroll accounting provider Elohna and interfaces to the five biggest banks in Switzerland to automatically synchronize e-banking and accounting for their customers.
