Diamond Raises over $2M in Funding

diamondDiamond, a San Mateo, Calif.-based personal data management platform, raised over $2m in funding.

The round was led by Palantir co-founder Joe Lonsdale of 8VC (formerly Formation 8) with participation from Cherubic Ventures, Beehive, Partech Ventures, Sway Ventures, Garage VC, Silicon Valley legend Pierre Lamond, etc.

The company will use the funds to expand operations and the platform.

Led by Pierre Arys, Leander Lee, Ashutosh Syal and Desmond Choi, Diamond provides a personal data management app which creates a single access point for all cloud-based email, data storage services and personal devices. They are building a personal layer of secure intelligence that covers Google Drive, Gmail, Dropbox, etc., making data accessible and queryable regardless of where it is stored.

Diamond is currently available to Mac users.
