Tula, a New York-based skincare brand, received a growth capital investment from L Catterton, a consumer-focused private equity firm.
The amount of the investment was not disclosed.
The company intends to use the funds to expand its marketing, working capital and product development efforts.
Co-founded in 2014 by Dr. Roshini Raj, Ken Landis and Dan Reich and led by Julia Straus, Chief Executive Officer, Tula leverages probiotic technology to deliver products that improve the health and appearance of the skin.
The company launched first exclusively with QVC, then built its online presence through partnerships with digital influencers and selectively launched in brick and mortar stores across the U.S. with SpaceNK.
