AccessPay Receives £2M Financing

AccessPay, a Manchester, UK-based fintech company, raised £2m in debt financing.

Backers included Clydesdale and Yorkshire Bank.

The company is using the proceeds to triple the staff base in Manchester (up to 60 new members of staff, including developers, sales, operations and marketing, before the end of 2017) and open a US office.

Led by Anish Kapoor, CEO, AccessPay provides a cloud-based payments technology platform which allows businesses to automate their payment transactions quickly and securely.
The company, whoch has 35 employees, serves a range of clients from SMEs to large corporates including Clifford Thames and European research organisation CERN. It is backed by True Ventures and Route 66 Ventures and was awarded £1m funding from Barclays in 2016.
