Moberg ICU Solutions, an Ambler, PA-based medical device development and manufacturing company, received an initial $3m investment from Micromed SAS.

Micromed is a wholly owned subsidiary of ArchiMed, an independent private equity fund focused exclusively on the healthcare sector.

Led by Dick Moberg, Founder and CEO, Moberg ICU Solutions is a medical device development and manufacturing company specializing in neurological patient monitoring solutions for acute care. Moberg’s Component Neuromonitoring System (CNS) works together with the vital signs monitor and other medical devices to provide a comprehensive view of brain dynamics promoting timely intervention by caregivers. The product is also a full-function continuous EEG machine and is the first medical device that can show the relationships between the electrical activity of the brain and other physiology at the bedside. The CNS Monitor provides clinicians with the information to personalize treatment for neurocritical care patients.

The company’s products are sold in the U.S., Canada, and Europe.
