RippleNami, Inc., a San Diego, CA-based provider of a map-based data visualization platform accessed via the cloud, closed a seed funding of undisclosed amount.
Backers included Bootstrap Incubation, Prosper Capital, Capital Innovators, Golden Seeds, and Chatham Venture Partners.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate operations growth and development of its technology.
Led by president and chief executive officer Jaye Connolly-LaBelle, RippleNami provides a cloud-based mapping platform that allows governments, corporations, NGOs, and aid organizations to access a wide variety of real-time information that matters most to them. The technology ingests any kind of data, including blockchain, and connects that information to a map adding meaning that enables users to make decisions and collaborate.
The company recently partnered with BanQu, a blockchain technology platform, to offer people living in extreme poverty access credit and other financial resources, as well as capture and visualize their life events such as banking, healthcare records, global supply chain and more.
