Sansoro Health, a Minneapolis-based developer of data integration platform for healthcare, closed a $5.2m Series A funding.
The round was led by Bain Capital Ventures.
The company, which had received $1.2m in a seed funding round from Healthy Ventures, TreeHouse Health and angel investors, will use the funds to expand sales, marketing and operations.
Led by Jeremy Edes Pierotti, CEO, Sansoro Health Sansoro provides integration software, Emissary™, which allows leaders across digital health, insurance, life sciences and health systems to connect applications to EMRs for health data exchange. The plug-and-play solution leverages web services to provide bi-directional, EMR-agnostic APIs to connect third-party technology products with major EMR platforms.
The company has been implemented by nearly 20 healthcare organizations since its introduction in 2015 – facilitating the exchange of thousands of API calls per month.
