The company, which has raised $11.5m in two years, will use the funds to bring its platform to the Australian market in the second half of 2017, to accelerate new product development and grow sales and marketing capabilities in Australia.

Led by Founder and Managing Director Ros Harvey, The Yield provides Sensing+, a platform that unites sensors, hardware and software with predictive analytics and artificial intelligence to allow growers to make critical on-farm decisions.
Initial seed funding in The Yield included a $1m Accelerating Commercialisation Grant from the Australian Government in 2015.
