ZEN Rooms, a Singapore-based budget hospitality company, secured $4.1m in Series A funding.
The round, which brought total equity financing to date to US$8M including all previous rounds, was led by Redbadge Pacific and SBI Investment Korea with participation from existing backer APACIG.
The company intends to use the funds to further expand its operations across Asia as well as launch new features.
Founded in 2015, ZEN Rooms is a budget hospitality company to offer value-for-money accommodation in South East Asia. The company is now present in 8 countries, more than 40 cities and 1,000+ locations. The company’s franchise improves local, independent budget accommodation providers (hotels, guest houses, B&Bs, apartments) through quality controls, operational improvements, data analysis, innovation and economies of scale.
