Artemis Health Raises $8.3m in Series A Funding

Artemis Health, a Salt Lake City, UT-based health data analytics company, raised $8.3m in Series A funding.

The round was led by Maverick Ventures. In conjunction with the funding, Ambar Bhattacharyya, Managing Director at Maverick Ventures, joined the Artemis Board of Directors.

The company intends to use the funds to expand operations.

Launched in 2013 by Grant Gordon, Dallin Regehr and Dallen Allred, Artemis Health enables companies to utilize their data to optimize their benefits programs while minimizing their spend. The company now serves over 20 large employers with more than a million covered employees.

The round also added board member Ashok Subramanian, former co-founder and CEO of Liazon and the head of the Group Exchange business at Willis Towers Watson, to the Artemis Health team.
