Bulletin, a NYC-based retail space startup, raised $2.2m in seed funding.
Backers included Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, Flybridge, Afore Capital, Tim Draper, Kevin Hale, Y Combinator and Liquid 2 Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to and continue to develop its platform and open five new stores (three in New York and two in Los Angeles) during 2017.
Led by CEO Alana Branston and and Ali Kriegsman, COO, Bulletin is a retail space company that finds premium retail spaces, sets up and leases them to brands on a monthly subscription fee.
The company aims to work with emerging brands, startups, individual sellers, big brands and small ones that design products that are executed with care and need a platform to sell tham in stores in 5 days or less, activating them in multiple locations to test new markets or build awareness.
An analytics dashboard provides real time sales data, product feedback and inventory management.
